Dove Men + Care Giveaway

Happy Saturday readers. I wanted to take a quick break from enjoying the summer sun here in Seattle to let you know the fine folks at Dove have developed a new line of bath products with guys in mind. They were also kind enough to send me a comfort kit to try out as well as one to giveaway to a lucky reader.

I have been using the products for a couple of weeks and am finding them to my liking. They smell nice and manly, which for me is always a good thing. Another good thing? I feel great when cleaned up and ready to leave for work in the morning. It was beyond me why, so I decided to read what the Dove folks had to say about the products:

Dove Men + Care Body & Face Wash is the only men’s body wash to be formulated with ultra-light MICROMOISTURE technology, a unique gel technology that activates on skin during lather to guard skin against discomfort. In addition, the Body & Face Bar thoroughly cleanses skin while fighting dryness with Dove signature ¼ moisturizing cream. Also, the Active Clean Shower Tool was created to give an even better body wash experience by delivering maximum lather and maximum scrub in each shower.

Ahh, it must be because of that MICROMOISTURE technology. After using it I have discomfort guard. I wish I had had that on several occasions from my past. Anyway, if you want more information about the products check out the Dove Mens Care website for details.

To be entered in the drawing for the comfort pack, just leave a comment on this post. Extra points for telling me what you could have used discomfort guard for in the past. You can also tweet this giveaway, making sure you mention @Seattledad in your tweet.

Must be a resident of the US or Canada to win and leave a valid email address or Twitter handle. Winner will be chosen on July 31st.

Full disclosure: All opinions expressed in this review are my own and not influenced in any way by the company. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider. I have been compensated or given a product free of charge, but that does not impact my views or opinions.

I could have used discomfort guard the first time I met my wife's parents. That was a awkward situation.

Uh, yes.
I would like to enter my husband, Wes into this giveaway. And here is why. He's a fine looking African American man and whenever we're out in public these days he always either reeks (c'mon, it's 102degrees here on a cool day) and/or reeks with the coverup scent of his deodorant which I won't name the brand of but which certainly isn't DOVE. The thing is, if he liked his shower products more perhaps he wouldn't need that nasty deodorant so badly and I could sidle up to him and grab his ass more and we could therefore have more of those little spontaneous encounters. It sounds pretty simple to me but let me sum it up:
if he "wins", he will have a better chance at "scoring."
And who wouldn't want that for a fine fellow such as him?

Hi! I could use the discomfort blocker every time my boys (8 and 9) have a question about S. E. X. God help me...I don't think there's enough discomfort blocker in the world. -J
